iPhone tripod

Post by xyster » Wed Jan 21, 2009 11:50 am

I find the hardest part of time lapse with the iPhone is getting a decent setup for the phone. Does anyone have good ideas for a quick and easy "tripod" for the iPhone?
Preferably, it would be something that's not bigger than the iPhone (might as well take a real camera in that case... :) ) and easily foldable/stowable.

I tried TimeLapse out for the first time today at work. I just sat it in the dock and slid a piece of card under the dock to roughly level it out. Worked a treat. :)

As for a portable tripod, I wonder if there's a way to convert something to suit a standard camera tripod screw mount.... *goes off to think*.

I'm looking for a good tripod too.

I think I might get this ----> http://thoughtout.biz/store/index.php?l ... etail&p=28

...but I also made one out of Sculpy (more of a lightweight base than a tripod)
