Battery life on iPhone 4?

I have a cool idea for an art project using TimeLapse, but it would (ideally) require that I shoot a picture every 10 seconds for 4-5 hours, and since I'll be walking around, I won't be able to have my phone plugged in.

If I use the dark screen mode, and put my phone into airplane mode, could I do that without the battery on my phone going dead? If not, how much time can I expect on a single charge? I have an iPhone 4.
