Uploading Movies

Uploading Movies

Postby ajohnson4sox » Sat Apr 23, 2011 8:05 am

I'm having trouble uploading my timelapse videos from my Iphone 3gs to my mac. When I try to open the files with iphoto my computer will show me the thumbnail of the movie but will not let me save it to my computer and won't even let me open it on my mac. Does I'm sure I'm missing something simple but I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find how to do it.

Thank you

When using iphoto you typically have to import the movie first.

Are you able to import movies taken with the iPhone's camera app?

Normally I would just two finger click the video in Iphoto and it will let me import it into my mac, but when I two finger click a timelapse video all the options are greyed out and I'm not allowed to upload them onto my computer. I see all these great videos on this website and on youtube so I know it can be done.

You should not need to click the movie itself. There should be a button in iPhoto off to the side saying to "Import" the photos.

Also, I ask this question just to be sure, since there has been some confusion before as a result of the similar names. Are you sure you downloaded my TimeLapse app as it appears in this link?
