dictionary will not open on my iphone

I installed dicitonary but when I try to open the program it shows a blank search screen for about 3 seconds then reverts back to my home page without any input from me. I can't get the keyboard to appear or any other functions to work during that 3 second interval either.
Anyone know what to do to fix this app?

That is very unusual. Many people have downloaded Dictionary and have not encountered this problem.
I can think of 2 things to try:
1. Try rebooting the iphone.
2. If 1 does not work, uninstall Dictionary, erase it in iTunes and download it again from Apple (it will be free because you already purchased it). Sync your iPhone with iTunes.
