Re: Time Lapse Demo Videos
Looking for some help if thats ok - i was going to review the app as my blog does a lot if timelapse work but after running the app for 8 hours and some 3000 images very dissapointed at not being able to run them into a timelapse due to the naming issue.
This seems to limit the app to 1000 images with is a great shame. Is there a way around it? I couldn't find any easy way to auto rename the images according to date so i can open as an image sequence in qt pro.
So near yet so far, a timelapse app that cant timelapse more than 1000 images!
Apart from that its fantastic and i was about to put up a rave review, I'll hold off now for any reply on a possible way around by renaming or a fix..
All the best,
Andy

Re: Time Lapse Demo Videos
smithee,
Sadly, I have no control over the naming of the files as they are stored into the library. This is an Apple bug. I will file this with Apple.
However, I do believe this issue can be worked around until Apple get to fixing the issue. Please open a new forum topic for this along with this information:
1. PC system your are using (Windows, Mac)
2. Method of downloading images (iPhoto, etc.)
3. What filenames you see. e.g. are there multiple "IMG_0001.JPG" files or do they have slightly different names?

Yup, iPhoto can do that. Select all photos, right click and choose batch change.smithee wrote:Would be great to know a easy Mac way to rename according to date ..
I usually tweak the exif data, import all photos into Lightroom, process them to my liking and export them with date, time and seconds in the filename.

Nice clouds.

Here is one I shot at my office to see if that big boat was drifting around or not. Turns out it does drift quite a bit!

Amazing idea for using TimeLapse!
Cool video! I've added it to the Hall of Fame.
